Founder – RÃp¡do Spanish

My journey into technology started with a personal mission. My youngest son was born with severe health challenges, and I knew I needed a better career that would provide better health insurance and stability for my family. After eight months of teaching myself how to code, I landed a job in tech at an automotive software engineering company. In less than a year and a half, I became a Project Manager for two radar development teams where we helped develop vehicle software systems such as Blind Spot Detection and Lane Change Assistance used in vehicles today.

I wanted everyone to learn how to code, so I began volunteering at my son’s school in Detroit teaching students how to code. That experience led me to develop my own STEM E-Learning Software as a Service platform and start my company, Codewithsharen LLC, where our mission was to bring proper STEM education to urban schools and help students become technology producers, not just consumers.

Later, I started RÃp¡do Spanish after realizing something important: adults learn differently. When adults hear words like “school,” “study,” or “curriculum,” they become nervous. But when learning feels like on-the-job training, people relax, engage, and learn faster.

RÃp¡do Spanish is built around real job situations — restaurants, retail, customer service, and workplace communication — because that’s where I saw people learn the fastest in real life. This isn’t classroom Spanish. This is workplace Spanish.

We don’t just teach Spanish. We teach confidence on the job.
